Fresh off her work as a wet behind the ears singer in Country Strong, Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester plays a privileged, Pasadena, Ca. raised youth who forms a very dangerous attachment with her new friend (Minka Kelly) in The Roommate. The picture was directed by Danish filmmaker Christian E. Christiansen, who received a Best Short Film (Live-Action) Oscar nomination for his project At Night.
