Three time Oscar®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson was rushed into surgery with severe stomach pains.

Doctors operated on Jackson to correct a seriously perforated stomach ulcer.

While everything else has done what it could to sabotage the latest Hobbit film, Jackson’s illness will apparently not be one of them.

He will be there to run the show whenever cast, crew, location, contracts, unions and money are settled.
