Sir Anthony Hopkins plays Father Lucas, a priest who performs exorcisms in The Rite. Acting, however, is just one of his many passions, as painting and music also take up a huge portion of his creative time.  Hopkins, who plays piano (he composed the score for the movie August, which he headlined and directed), is set to have a concert in Birmingham (England) in July.  In June, his artwork will be displayed at shows in Maui and Waikiki.  “I play the piano every day and I used to learn a poem a day,” said Hopkins. “Don’t do that so much now. But I like to read.  I like to learn stuff.  Learning scripts, learning Latin, learning Italian, even though it’s phonetic it’s great at keeping the synapses going and keeping everything fresh. “Click on the media bar and listen to Hopkins talk about playing the piano.
