The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak had plenty to say about the top 10 movies featured in the Best Picture category of the Academy Award Nominations.

Sherak also addressed the choice of Anne Hathaway and James Franco as this year’s Oscar hosts (Franco is also nominated in the Leading Actor category for 127 Hours).

The Academy is moving onward and upward to stay relevant with all ages of viewers and the two hot new hosts are a significant contribution heading into that direction.

But the biggest question Sherak addresses is whether or not the ceremony can be kept to roughly three hours in length.
