During his recent Golden Globes Awards hosting, Ricky Gervais famously insulted several celebrities where some jokes were thought to be over the line.
“Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor – two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay, so the complete opposite of some famous scientologists,” Gervais said to embarrassed laughter.
Who, if anyone, was he referring to?
John Travolta is a Scientologist and famous.
When asked by TMZ what he thought of Gervais‘ routines, the classy Travolta said, “Well, you know, it was more like a roast.”
But what did you think of Gervais’ jokes Mr. Travolta?
“Well, it’s a roast, you know?”
Travolta has been married to Kelly Preston for 20 years and has fathered three children.
Other celebrity Scientologists include Tom Cruise, Juliette Lewis, Kirstie Alley, Anne Archer, Lisa Marie Presley and Cruise’s wife, Katie Holmes.
