“It’s his 2nd bout of malaria,” CNN’s Piers Morgan tweeted regarding his guest George Clooney. “Taking medication but feeling rough.”
All that was about Clooney getting infected from his visit in Sudan earlier this month.
In his effort to bring attention to the many problems and potential catastrophes of Sudan, Clooney often travels in the center of that storm.
“This illustrates how with proper mediation, the most lethal condition in Africa,” Clooney said earlier, “can be reduced to bad ten days instead of a death sentence.”
Of course if the world community hadn’t banned DDT in Africa, there might have been far less mosquitoes to have taken their bite out of Clooney, much less from the tens of millions who have died over the years.
