Ricky Gervais Attribution: Caroline Bonarde Ucci (CC 3.0 Unported)

Ambushed in the rain and viewed on TMZ, a reporter asked controversial Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais about his performance at the awards ceremony.  “It doesn’t really matter because I’m not going to do it again anyway.”  Gervais said after having savaged many of Hollywood’s untouchables Sunday night.  “I loved it more than last year, actually.”

Gervais indicated that the decision is his, that no one in higher places is telling him what to do. “I said I wouldn’t do it a second time but so I think two, twice is enough.”

When asked about the mostly positive response from other comedians, Gervais said “Nice to be loved by your peers.”
