The Green Hornet, featuring Seth Rogen as the title character and Jay Chou as Kato, is director Michel Gondry’s (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep) stab at mainstream filmmaking.  Although I’m not a huge fan of the trailer, I had the chance to see the film this week and was not disappointed (my review will be posted next week).  One of the picture’s best assets is the crimefighting duo’s go-to muscle car, the Black Beauty.  It’s a multi-purpose vehicle that James Bond or any Top Gear enthusiast would drool over, and it’s put to good use in the picture.  As for my favorite feature, it really has to be the flamethrower…any car worth its salt must spit fire!!  Below is a little featurette on the Black Beauty, so if you want to check out the ride in all its glory, check out the following video (the song in the clip is the Cypress Hill track “Rise Up”):
