Nicolas Cage starts off 2011 with yet another movie offering (hasn’t he done about 30 in the past three years??), the supernatural thriller Season of the The Witch. The film, which has been in the can for over a year, features Cage as a 14th Century Crusader named Behman who, along with a fellow warrior (Son of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman), is ordered to transport a witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey.  The witch is accused of causing the Black Plague, but Behman has his doubts about the mission.  The movie reunites Cage with Dominic Sena, who directed him in the 2000 film Gone In Sixty Seconds. Click on the media bar and listen to Cage explain why he usually doesn’t watch many of his old films.
