Chris Brown explained that his poetic exchange with Raz-B was angry displacement.

“Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz-B, who was bent on getting attention,” Brown told TMZ. “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter. I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone.”

All that had to do with a provocative remark by Raz-B directed at Brown that Mr. Brown interpreted as hostile.

Brown wrote to Raz-B in an open tweet with, “Di– in da booty ass lil boy,” which was probably the more offensive element of the correspondence.

Brown also said that, “I’m not homophobic! He’s just disrespectful!!!”
