The curse of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has struck again!  Villainess Arachne, (Natalie Mendoza) is reportedly leaving the show.

After getting stuck in the head by a falling rope during opening preview November 28, Mendoza was diagnosed with a concussion but returned to work three days later.

Problem was she suffered recurrent headaches, nausea and had to leave for two more weeks.

The New York Times reports that some close to the show say Mendoza’s lawyers and the production’s reps are working out an agreement for their client to leave gracefully.

Mendoza joins three other actors who have been afflicted by the Spider-Man musical curse, the most misfortune since the Phantom of the Opera wrecked havoc a century earlier.
