Atlantic City was the setting for the The Caesar’s Tribute: A Salute to the Golden Age of American Skating in early December and today we all get to check out what all the buzz was about.
The ice skating show features top Olympic skaters throughout the decades from Gold Medalists Peggy Fleming, Scott Hamilton and Dorothy Hamill to Silver and Bronze Medal winner, Nancy Kerrigan, who also hosts the program.
And Kerrigan promises, despite the varying ages of the participants, the routines will be challenging.
“It’s not a competition, it’s an exhibition, yet there is no lack of difficult things” she points out. “It is a tribute show so not everybody is skating, but they’re taking part somehow whether it’s receiving an award, giving an award or just making speeches. There are lots of performances. There are about 35 skaters in the cast and 20 are Hall of Famers so it’s an amazing group to be a part of.”
The Caesar’s Tribute: A Salute to the Golden Age of American Skating begins 4:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
