“Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did presurgery,” reality TV starlet Heidi Montag told Life & Style magazine. “This is not what I signed up for.”
Montag’s interview with the magazine chronicles her endless plastic surgery disasters and her compulsion for improvement-by-knife.
“I would love to not be ‘plastic girl’ or whatever they call me. Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world,” Montag said. “I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back. Instead, I’m always going to feel like Edward Scissorhands.”
How compulsive was the (now decrepit) 24-year old? Well, in one day alone she had 10 surgical procedures performed.
Montag describes some of her most memorable “deformations” that might be instructive for a psychiatrist to unravel a confused mind.
Revelations include, uneven breasts; bright-red mark inside her right nostril from her nose job; 2-inch-long raised blemish under her chin from her chin reduction; jagged line behind her ears from having her ears pinned back; stretch mark on her chest; lumpy legs and four spots left on her lower back and below the buttocks from botched liposuction; two caterpillar-size bald spots along her hairline from a brow lift; deep scars around her nipples from a second boob job.
And that’s just what she’s telling.
“The big dark mark from my chin reduction is probably the most noticeable. But the absolute worst is on my breasts, and the scariest is below my butt cheek. People have fewer scars from car accidents than I have on my body.”
What’s the appropriate cliché? Be careful what you wish for? Every blessing has a curse? Don’t fall in love with your mirror?
Still, she makes good money on little more than her looks, and I wear a paper belt.
