Hugh Jackman four years ago

Hugh Jackman got his eye cut when the fancy high wire apparatus he was riding smashed into the landing.

The Australian actor was making an  extravagant entrance for Oprah Winfrey’s Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure by riding a flying fox but the thing didn’t brake on time.

However, Jackson is one of the last real he-men actors (Wolverine star, severe rough sports enthusiast) and wiped off the blood from under his right eye and got back to work.

Winfrey stopped the show to make sure her guest star wouldn’t bleed to death, then rolled the cameras again after ten minutes down.

Jackson did the rest of his interview with a bandage around his noticeably bruised eye.

All this is part of Winfrey’s (going out with a bang) Australian showcase of four programs from way down under.
