The King’s Speech with an impressive seven nods and Glee with five nods were the big nominees for the Hollywood Foreign Press’ Golden Globe Awards this year.
As expected Natalie Portman received a Best Actress nomination for her stunning role in Black Swan, while Colin Firth, who was a shoe-in, got the nom for Best Actor for The King’s Speech.
What got snubbed? The Coen Brothers critically-praised western True Grit.
And in the Why? category, The Tourist, which received mostly negative reviews and landed at number two for its debut in theaters, got recognition in the Comedy or Musical category.
