24: The Complete 8th Season is one of the better in the series. The show was a mega-hit with a loyal following throughout its run, but had lost its way after season five for a time. Season eight recaptured all the elements that made that show a hit as Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) tries to convince President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) the error of her ways, while the president uses all the power of her office to stop him from exposing her misdeeds - thanks to the reemergence of President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin). The series closed with the same excitement of its debut.
