David Hasselhoff

The Hasselhoffs the reality series starring former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and his daughters Taylor Ann and Hayley has been retired by A&E after its second episode.

The Hasselhoffs debuted to 718,000 sets of eyes but by the following Sunday 213,000 less viewers turned in.

The Hasselhoffs didn’t seem to be more (or less) silly than any of the other millions of unwatchable reality shows.

Maybe, like the originally unappreciated Gilligan’s Island there will be another life in rerun heaven.  There remain eight additional episodes of David and his family not yet aired.
