Scriptwriter Aaron Benjamin Sorkin says that Sarah Palin is deranged.

Hardly a news alert from the writer of the West Wing, but he’s more angry with The Learning Channel for airing Sarah Palin’s Alaska in the first place.

First on The Huffington Post and then on Facebook, Sorkin seemed to have an infarction over Palin’s Caribou hunting (”heart-stoppingly disgusting”) from Sunday’s show that he apparently watched.

“You didn’t just do it for fun and you didn’t just do it for money,” Sorkin wrote. “That was the first moose ever murdered for political gain. You knew there’d be a protest from PETA and you knew that would be an opportunity to hate on some people, you witless bully. What a uniter you’d be–bringing the right together with the far right.”

The man with a deep love of words and moving rhetoric reached many of us, saying poetically, “You’re right, Sarah, we’ll all just go f**k ourselves now.”

Sideways, with The Social Network, Sorkin will likely win the Oscar© for best screenplay this year.
