Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg is allegedly renting out his Palo Alto home. You can walk in the same rooms and use the same bathroom as the 26-year old living legend billionaire. All for just $7,850 a month.
Valleywag says that the rent ad is on Craigslist. And it’s apparently the same place he showed off while doing an Oprah Winfrey interview.
There is some dispute whether the home remains available. While still on Craigslist, it’s reportedly gone from other sources.
Hardly palatial, photos of the property inside and out appear modest, as you might expect from a practical genius. And since Zuckerberg puts in 7-day work weeks at Facebook corporate, the house probably hasn’t been lived in much either.
But the most salient feature may be the fact that the street where the home rests is hidden from Google Street View cameras.
Some of Zuckerman’s earliest moments are dramatized in the new film The Social Network where actor Jesse Eisenberg plays the Facebook co-founder as a complex rogue who does the right things when the flashlight illuminates his darkside.
