John Walsh, host of America’s Most Wanted believes that a viewer’s tip led Beverly Hills detectives to a man they referred to as a person of interest connected to a sensational Hollywood murder.

Famed publicist Ronni Chasen was shot in her car as she returned home from a screening midnight, Nov. 16.

Last Saturday AMW ran a segment on Chasen.  This Wednesday cops served the suspect a search warrant but the man killed himself with a handgun.

Walsh later told the Los Angeles Times, “I believe they responded to a tip that we had passed on…BHPD reached out to us. We have been working closely with Beverly Hills (detectives).”

Neither Walsh nor Beverly Hills police are saying anything else.
