English actress Georgie Henley is known to millions of movie fans as Lucy Pevensie from the Narnia films, and she stars in the latest installment, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Although she loves being an actress, the job does have its challenges. “I think the hardest thing for me is being away from home,” said the 15-year-old. “I sometimes think to myself, `I was in Australia for five months and 50 percent of the time all I did was bitch and moan about how I missed my family and friends. Not to other people, just in my head. It would always be on my mind. It would be fine when I’d be working but the minute I get home it would instantly play on my mind, kind of rattling around in a big apartment. You have to get a big apartment so your family could fly out, but when they leave it’s just so empty.” The good news for Henley is that the holidays are upon us, and she will be spending quality time with her loved ones. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader opens stateside December 10th.
