With its extravagant musical numbers and flamboyant set design, Cher was naturally a top choice to play one of the leads in Burlesque. While taking on a movie of this magnitude for his directorial debut was certainly a challenge for Steve Antin, he told us it was an even tougher job to convince the iconic diva to sign on for the film.
