last night Jennifer Grey won ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

Like other reality talent shows, a fan favorite often wins over judge’s scores, but Bristol Palin’s viewer voter success brought death threats.

Interesting that other news organizations have called Palin “a single mom,” and was supported by “conservative groups” who led get-out-the-vote campaigns.

All of that is true, but we don’t recall the same news services calling attention to (similarly talent-challenged) media darlings with free form lifestyles and ballot stuffing fans.

Well, Palin came in third so there won’t be a violent revolution after all.  Until her mother comes to town.
