If you’ve been watching Human Target, you’ve probably noticed that Ilsa Pucci (Indira Varma) is getting a bit more contentious with Christopher Chance (Mark Valley). And from what Indira Varma tells HollywoodOutbreak.com, it’s going to get a lot more explosive this season.
“Ilsa Pucci, she likes to know how things are being done. She likes to control things.” Varma begins. “And these kind of crazy Robin Hood-types don’t always do things the right way. She doesn’t understand that lifestyle and she also disapproves. She will question they’re way of dealing with things. So Chance and her are constantly at loggerheads. It becomes worse and worse and will eventually reach a head.”
And Varma promises we’ll see that happen in this season, though not on tonight’s episode.
The actress has been put through the paces on the action-adventure series. And though she’s not a fan of spiders or guns Varma has been asked to deal with both.
“I’ve been asked to handle some AK-47s and played with some tarantulas,” she laughs. “It’s been nuts.”
However, given a choice she rather cuddle real spiders than the bazooka-sized weapons.
“At one point I had a loaded gun and they always officially say, ‘It’s empty,’ when you’re using an empty gun,” she points out. “And when it’s full, they show you the rest of it and say, ‘Never point it in that direction’ because if you’re close if something gets discharged, a little piece of the metal, even if it’s just casing and there’s nothing in them, you could kill someone.”
All in a day’s work no doubt.
Human Target airs Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on FOX
