George Lopez

Married for 17 years, separated for two months, Ann Lopez filed for divorce Tuesday from comedian George Lopez.

Once upon a time Mrs. Lopez gave her kidney to her husband.  Afterward George Lopez said that “I can’t pay her back, but what I can do is make her as happy as she thought I would when we first got married.”

That was five years ago.

Ann wants spousal support and custody of their 14-year old daughter.

Reportedly there’s no prenup, so it might be instructive to see what happens next.
