Skyline is another big, aliens-vs-Earthling flick as peculiar lights descend on Los Angeles, which coaxes residents out of their homes to check them out. They disappear, but the survivors learn rather quickly that the extraterrestrials are out to devour the entire human population – not just in L.A. The movie stars Eric Balfour (24, Haven).

Unstoppable revolves around an unmanned, runaway train with a heap of combustible liquids and poisonous gas on board. It is, naturally, on a course to wipe out a city. It’s up to the rail company’s engineer and his conductor (Denzel Washington, Chris Pine) to stop the train, by chasing it down in a separate locomotive.

Morning Glory stars Rachel McAdams as Becky Fuller, a TV producer newly hired on the morning show Daybreak. She has big plans revive the program’s ratings, which is easier said than done once Becky hires Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford), who is not interested in doing morning show fluff much less sharing the spotlight with Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton), his beauty queen co-anchor.
