In the episode Daphne’s (Penabaker) friend, Trent Stafford (Rathbone) and his parents are the victims of a home invasion. So, Daphne uses her abilities to help Jim (Michael Chiklis) try to track down the thugs responsible for the violent act.

Meanwhile, when Stephanie’s (Julie Benz) hard-to-please parents, Barbara (Cybill Shepherd) and Allan Crane (Bruce McGill), pay an unexpected visit. So, the Powells put a curb on using of their powers to keep it hush-hush. But it doesn’t take long before Barbara and Allan begin to suspect that something’s goofy anyway, after they catch a peek at some strange behavior.
