It was on Friday that MSNBC President Phil Griffin suspended indefinitely his network’s most popular host after learning that Keith Olbermann had made several political contributions against their policy.

The contributions give the impression that Olbermann may have a political bias and therefore a conflict of interest as a serious chronicler of the news and honest broker of information (as we wrote two days ago).

After MSNBC’s smirky Rachel Maddow got (what she thought was) mileage grandstanding that her network was a real “news operation” and FNC was a “political operation,” Griffin put Olbermann back to work, effective tomorrow.

Well, that’s the jackal calling the fox furry.
