“…it is intensely mortifying taking your clothes off in front of other people…” Anne Hathaway told Pop Tarts at the premiere of  Love & Other Drugs.

Jake Gyllenhaal is the other end of the naked cinematic intimacy, saying that it’s “what love is about,” and “I hope people would want to see that, and if not then we’re both naked – so…”

Yes, we all recognize that there’s a difference between a nude Michelangelo and a drunken idiot streaking at a sports stadium.

“It’s racy – very racy.  I keep asking people if it is too sexy for them, Hathaway said.  Hopefully the “people” didn’t tell her that it was sexless.

“I try to be as respectful as possible,” Gyllenhaal said in honesty, without a publicist editing his words, “and if you are respectful on the set it makes it as dirty as it can be onscreen.”

Maybe Hathaway had a studio handler whispering in her ear when she said that, “However, it is just part of the job…”

“I used to get beat up for free,” the boxer said. “It’s okay now because as a pro I get paid for taking a beating.”
