Former Southern Pacific Railroad brakeman, Don Imus apologized for his telling a singer to “shut up” and “go to hell,” on his radio show yesterday.
Well, context is everything, and the singer just happened to be crooning a jingle for the Kars4Kids children’s charity.
Then he threatened to give him his Bentley. The biggest controversy of the whole affair was whether or not the I-Man was actually going to give the car away, although his invective ended with the hideously offensive M-word (moron).
The Kars4Kids group accepted Imus‘ apology where someone reportedly with the Imus show sighed, “Very catchy tune, very silly controversy.”
