Uma Thurman went through an agonizing trial two years ago to get a restraining order against a stalker.

The over-zealous fan (lunatic Jack Jordan) had reportedly been harassing Thurman for two years and was finally arrested outside her New York City home.

This time the stalker allegedly called Thurman (now 40) and told her assistant that Uma’s gentleman-friend wasn’t good enough for her and wanted to know where to find her.  Oh, okay, here’s a map, a knife and the key to her safe-room.

Often when a stalker finally understands that he is being rejected by the object of his affection, the situation becomes sensational to the media, fascinating to the public and tortuous, dangerous, fatal to the victim.

Jordan is diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and god-knows what all.  At the end of that 2007 trial he reportedly told the court that “My greatest wish is that I had known sooner that I was putting fear into the heart of (Thurman).”

It’s all the more creepy because the NYPD doesn’t know where the hell Jordan is, and if this were a horror film, can you guess what would happen next?
