Saw 3D took the top spot and grabbed box office gold for its final installment with $22.5 million in revenue between Friday and Sunday. Though the producers have been claiming this is the last in the series, this weekend’s dough could reinvigorate the franchise.

Paranormal Activity 2 landed at number two in its second week out and brought in an estimated additional $16.5 mil. That brings its tally to $65.6 million in just two weeks and considering its $3 million budget, Paranomal Activity 2 is a genuine success story.

Red, in its third week out, took third place and brought in an extra $10.8 million. That means the action flick has amassed $58.9 million – recouping its $58 mil budget – with plenty more to come.

Jackass 3D with an estimated additional $8.4 puts it in fourth place and takes it well past its $20 million production costs. To date the pic has taken in $101.5 million, which should guarantee yet another sequel in the series.

Hereafter raised an additional $6.3 million and insured the film the fifth place slot over the weekend. In total, Hereafter has snagged $22.1 mil, which is considerably lower than its $50 mil budget. But, with only three weeks in theaters, there is still time for it to recoup its costs.
