Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp, where you can (depending on your particular hero) live out a grown-up fantasy by interacting with and playing alongside the rock star of your choice.

Well, this time around you’ll have the chance to perform onstage with (real legendary) performer, songwriter, actor Roger Daltrey, co-founder and lead singer of The Who.

From January 12 to 17 in New York City, rock enthusiasts and amateur musicians will have the opportunity to interact with, learn from, jam with and perform alongside their idols as part of the rock camp that became the centerpiece of VH1 Classic’s new series – also called Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Campwhich debuted October 16 as the most watched series premiere in network history.

There are three packages – the four-day Rock Star package, and six-day Headliner and Recording Star packages – allowing campers a variety of options.

This fall, in conjunction with the VH1 Classic series, Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp is criss-crossing the nation, bringing a series of Weekend Warrior Camps to a town near you.

The tour, led by Allman Brothers legend Dickey Betts, kicks off  today for a weekend in Philadelphia, and then continues in San Francisco (Nov. 5-7), Dallas (Nov. 12-14) and Chicago (Nov. 19-21). There will be numerous special guest rock stars in each city.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp was founded by David Fishof in 1997 as the ultimate music experience for the amateur or aficionado, pairing music lovers of all levels together with rock icons for a first-hand immersion in the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.
