Community is one of those shows with a core following, but deserves so much more attention for the quality of the actors and the writing.

And according to Saturday Night Live alum and comic legend, Chevy Chase, who stars as the resident bigot, Pierce, on the series, the second season is really zeroing in on its attitude.

“I think we have found the tone,” Chase acknowledges. “I think we know each other, we’re comfortable with this characters and they all sort of fit.”

When Chase began his career on Saturday Night Live, there was no way to know what sort of groundbreaking show it would be. Now, 35 years later, the impact of the late night staple is still fresh in his mind and a treasured memory.
