Gotta love the folks at The Bachelor for knowing just how to stir controversy. Brad Womack, once considered to be the most hated Bachelor in the history of the reality show will be the next Bachelor who’ll be looking for true love.

We’re told by ABC that Womack has gone through a three-year transformation into a now sincere, sexy and successful, self-made man.

If you recall from the 2007 season ender of The Bachelor, Womack decided not to propose to either finalist, Jenni Croft or DeAnna Pappas. Supposedly, he’s been beating himself up ever since having wasted the opportunity.

He’s ready to find true love and will begin his quest in January of 2011 when the new season of The Bachelor kicks off.

It remains to be seen whether or not his intensive therapy has really done the job or whether he’ll remain a hot-looking cad.
