Relationships are tough, but on series TV it can spell the end of a show. So, the producers of House (Mondays, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on FOX) had plenty to consider before Drs. House (Hugh Laurie) and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) hooked up.

Now that ship has sailed, it’s a little too late to question the decision. But then, Hugh Laurie tries hard not to focus in on what the audience is thinking.
