Director Zack Snyder has helmed two of the most ambitious films in years with 300 and Watchmen and drawn the admiration of fanboys all over the world. Plus, the hype for Sucker Punch, another movie which promises tons of action (and this time out, beautiful women), is pretty much off the charts. So I was a bit surprised to learn Mr. Snyder decided to helm the 3D animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, which is now playing nationwide.  Since I don’t have any kids and still haven’t seen The Town or Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, I’m putting Legend of the Guardians The Owls of Ga’hoole way down on my viewing list. Will the owl film best the competition and emerge the #1 film over the weekend and beat Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps?
