Don’t shed any tears for Tina Fey, even though Edie Falco won the Emmy this year for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy (Nurse Jackie).  The former Saturday Night Live member and current 30 Rock headliner has won 7 Emmys, and she’s parlayed her TV success to land film roles in Baby Mama and Date Night (she also penned the script to Lindsay Lohan’s strongest film, Mean Girls).  A new season of NBC’s  30 Rock begins tonight at its new 8:30 pm et/pt timeslot, and Matt Damon returns as “Carol the pilot,” aka “Liz Lemon’s” TGS loving squeeze.  “It’s the premiere episode of TGS, which is the show within the show so everyone is coming back to work for the first time,” says Fey about tonight’s installment.  Click on the media bar to hear Fey gives us a rundown of 30 Rock’s season premiere.  Let’s hope “Liz” finds true love with the self-proclaimed “doorman to the sky!”
