My life was rough for several months, but now, after five years, I am almost whole. I learned so much during the treatment and healing process that I have been able to counsel other throat cancer patients and help them navigate the through difficult times they face, just learning how to swallow food and get back to a normal life style. I did several weeks of intense radiation in tandem with chemo and experimental drugs which I volunteered to take. There isn't much I don't know about this.
