Although knocked off her pedestal from the coveted Hollywood’s biggest idiot title by Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton was still likely delighted that she remained at the top of the news cycle.  All because of the results of a pesky Vegas felony case and that devil cocaine.  But even for celebrity justice this was Orwellian.

Hilton will instead enter a guilty plea (reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal), the felony will be dropped and she will walk with probation.  A subset newsbreaker to the Hilton arrest on August 27 was her star treatment in jail by getting in and out in an hour.

Meanwhile, the People’s representative and administer of blind justice, Clark County D.A. David Roger said without busting out laughing,  “We fashioned a resolution which would give us complete control over her future.”
