Actress Milla Jovovich is basically known for her Resident Evil movies, but she is getting rave reviews at the Toronto Film Festival for her work in the prison drama Stone. The film co-stars Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, and at first glance Jovovich may seem out of place with such a high level duo. However, Jovovich has turned in excellent performances in such films as A Perfect Getaway, The Messenger (she played Joan of Arc in the film), and He Got Game. Norton also knew of Jovovich’s potential, and he gave Stone director John Curran his blessing on the casting choice.
