Law & Order creator/producer Dick Wolf outfoxed his ex-wife in their divorce settlement, according to hatter-mad Christine Wolf .  It all has to do with the Wolf’s joint business managers allegedly helping Mr. Wolf more than his better-half, by giving her a short count.  Might think that Christine is nit-picking Dick’s bones, but the amount she believes due her may be in the hundreds of millions.

Ex-Mrs. Wolf says that she was betrayed by Loring Ward International and the Assante Corp., the trusted family accounting/business firm, that they “negligently and/or purposefully” hid  ”substantial assets,”  The Hollywood Reporter reports from the filed documents.  Wolf helps the court through the tangled tissue of (alleged) lies, saying that it was “…all for the benefit of Mr. Wolf in order to protect their interests in continuing to manage his assets,” so that a motive can be included with the remaining elements of the crime.

So that law (corporate trickery) and order (a media king’s fortune) can be properly administered.
