Top Chef: Just Desserts premieres on Bravo tonight (11 pm et/pt) and the series will be hosted by Top Chef regular Gail Simmons.  Pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini will serve as the head judge, with chef Hubert Keller and DailyCandy Editor-at-Large Danielle Kyrillos serving as the other judges. The question is if Gail Simmons be able to carry her own show sans Padma Lakshmi and the oh so intimidating Tom Colicchio. This writer believes the show should continue the success of the Top Chef tradition, especially since Simmons and Kyrillos are not afraid to express their opinions (my kind way of saying they’re opinionated!!).
