Although Matthew Perry is best known as the neurotic funny guy “Chandler” on Friends, the actor has realized that he doesn’t have to be completely “on” one hundred percent of the time. His upcoming ABC series Mr. Sunshine centers on a sports area manager in San Diego who suffers a mid-life crisis, and the project is partly inspired by his own personal journey. Love Matthew Perry. Glad he’s back on TV. Missed him. Friends was great but I think this new show is going to be a wonderful one and I think he will shine brighter than he ever has. He is a very good actor and this will give him a chance to get away from the Chandler label everyone has seemed to stick him with. I love the fact that he likes to entertain and be funny for people and love Friends, but I am looking forward to seeing this new show.
