Leonardo DiCaprio is scared. He has to look over his shoulder more than he looks forward, for at least two reasons. The actor claims Livia Bistriceanu bombarded him with emails, handwritten letters and even appeared at his home, according to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court. Bistriceanu believes (if her correspondence can be believed) that she is Mrs. Leo DiCaprio and is pregnant with Leo junior; none other than the baby Jesus himself.
Needless to say, DiCaprio was granted a restraining order and Bistriceanu has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the actor. Of course, without Thorazine (or a padded cell) DiCaprio’s admirer will, what? Just go away?
In his declaration, DiCaprio said that he was “frightened of Ms. Bistriceanu” and felt that he and others around him were “in jeopardy.” Also, his attorney introduced a handwritten letter from the stalker accusing DiCaprio of everything that only a bonafide lunatic could come up with.
The second reason that DiCaprio must listen to footsteps at night comes from yet another woman. Four days ago in Los Angeles, Canadian Aretha Wilson was ordered to stand trial for allegedly slashing DiCaprio’s face during a 2005 event with a shard of glass. DiCaprio still carries the face and neck injuries. An ancient aphorism warns about knowing the person you sleep with. Poor DiCaprio apparently has to worry about everyone except those he has an intimate knowledge.
