We will get a taste of what the campers have been going through at home in the two-part season finale of Huge (Mondays, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, ABC Family).

A parents weekend is coming up and some of the kids are excited and others – not so much. And from what we can tell some of the moms and dads will be bringing a heap of controversy with them.

Hayley Hasselhoff, who stars as Amber on the series, would like to see some attitudes toward larger people change – even though her famous father, David Hasselhoff never made her feel anything, but special. Hasselhoff says one particular area of our culture that needs a wake-up call is marketing – where itty-bitty sizes reign supreme.

“That’s what’s so messed up about society,” she begins. “Why aren’t we advertising plus-sized people? That’s most of America. Why do we have to advertise to only size two girls or Victoria’s Secret models? I love them to death, they’re beautiful, but at the end of the day that’s not a normal size person.”

Hasselhoff began her career as a plus-size model and she’s hoping Huge will reshape perceptions about bigger people.

“It’s a show that says it’s OK to be who you are.”
