The very first issue number 0 will be released in September with additional installments 1-5 breaking in December of this year.

Rodriguez co-wrote the story with longtime producing partner, Aaron Kaufman.

The image was designed by famed comic book artist, Juan Doe.

Rodriguez’s new movie Machete, starring Danny Trejo, will premiere September 3rd. The plot follows the revenge rampage of a former Federale is betrayed by the organization that hired him.

The cast also includes Robert DeNiro, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Cheech Marin, Steven Seagal, Don Johnson and incarcerated actress Lindsay Lohan.
