For me, it took a while to allow Collin Hanks to settle in without the shadow of his father, but he has taken the character in his own direction and is standing on his own two feet.

I also like the juxstaposition of Jenny Wade and Angela Sarafyan. Diana Maria Riva plays the Lt. with he control of someone who would pistol whip Dan just for good times.

The writing is a great. Keep the pace - don’t compromise - and let the good times roll. ps If this show was broadcast in ‘85, never would have gotton off the ground.

People watch Jersey Shore because you can live vicariously through rich, buff, good looking young people who have never worked a day in their lives. Most shows are like that. This show has zero eye candy, so when you’re watching the previews and looking for that sort of thing, the one thing that generates ratings and don’t get it, you can understand the problem. If this was 1985, this would be a huge show. Unfortunately, everyone’s so dumbed down, even cornball cop comedy is too much thinking for viewers. Here’s hoping they market this to the older crowd.
