It’s great seeing Luke Wilson getting a movie gig, as he’s more recognizable these days for his AT&T commercials.  With Middle Men, Wilson plays a businessman named “Jack Harris” who creates the first online billing company that gives clients adult entertainment.  Set in 1995, the movie deals with the rapid growth of the internet as seen through “Jack’s” eyes.  The good news for the film is that it features scene stealer Giovanni Ribisi and James Caan.  The trailer, however, tries to convince viewers that the flick is tons of fun, but pretty much looks like a straight to DVD flick that’s masquerading as a feature film.  Nevertheless, the movie opens August 6th, 2010, and we’re pulling for Luke Wilson to prove us wrong.
