David is amazing. I’ve read David’s book and have gifted it to some of his International fans. The book is very inspirational. David’s spirit and inspiration is amazing and can touch/reach out to anyone of any age. My life has changed since David’s music came into my life. David and his music put a smile on my face every day — there is just something very special about this young man who is truly gifted with an amazing voice and spirit.

David Archuleta has an incredible compassion for people and he wants to use the talent he’s been given for good, to reach people, so that “hopefully people can get something out of it.” Why would he wait till he’s 40 when he’s reaching so many now? Go youtube when he sang Heaven on AI. Look at the back-up singer wiping tears away, which I’ve seen happen at his concerts over and over again. That’s an amazing gift that’s meant to be shared, no matter what his age. It’s been amazing to watch his impact on people. I’ve been watching for two years now, and I’ve never seen anything like it! I’ll tell you what, it really changes your perspective on things. David Archuleta is my hero!

David was approached by the publisher and asked to write the book. He was surprised they asked him at his age and unsure of his writing skills and whether he had enough to say to fill a book. But he knew his fans were interested and he hoped that his own struggles with confidence and his vocal paralysis might help at least one person overcome their own obstacles in pursuit of their dream. Grats to David on all he has done so far and will do. I’m a huge fan of both his voice and the humble, kind, charitable and hardworking person he is.

I’m pretty sure kids or teens nowadays (or anybody really) would be more inclined to buy a book/memoir about someone that they can relate to and know off (i.e. who is popular and current) than some older person who may have passed their hey day and who some of them are too young to really know. I think the fact that it made the New York Time Bestsellers List shows that he made the right choice… 19 or not, he’s got a story to tell so let him tell it. He doesn’t pretend to be somebody he’s not nor to know things beyond his years but what he does have to say and share is pretty interesting and inspiring really just because, at that age and all that he’s gone through and achieved in such a short period of time, he seems to grasp concepts and purpose that some of us are still struggling with and he is doing with his fame something I’ve never really seen before. It’s clear that he gets it and is in this for all the right reasons. So yeah, 19 or not, I got a lot more out of this book/memoir than you would think. You just have to give it a chance…

David is a rare and gifted individual. Wise beyond his years, a kind and compassionate human being, very involved in several charities, the most gorgeous voice I have ever heard from someone so young, so incredibly gifted and yes….he has worked extremely hard for what he has achieved. I have the utmost respect and admiration for this amazing young man. I have read his book and it was a delight to read and very inspiring. People of all ages can enjoy the book and be inspired by it. Age is no barrier when it comes to sharing something valuable from the heart and David definitely has something valuable to share. David at his young age has more wisdom than many people three times his age.
Really looking forward to his next album and I am loving his new, soon to be released single!
Yes, David looks young…he looks like a teenager and he is one.
I would recommend his book and his wonderful music to anyone.

David has accomplished so much in his young life and has gone thru a lot of obstacles to achieve his dreams than most older people have. Young people as well as adults can learn a lot from his inspiring book. He is a rarity among many celebrities, young and old in that not only is he incredibly talented but also a great role model. BTW, his new single “Something ‘Bout Love” is amazing with vocals only David can deliver.

Making fun and poking jabs at David’s youthful looks—then, making fun and poking jabs that he has written a memoir—very small of you, considering David’s immense talent and accomplishments. His exemplary character along with his decision to become involved with so many charities make him a cut above the rest. You probably haven’t seen him perform live or read his book—-which makes me wonder why the foolish treatment of him. You really have no idea who David Archuleta is, do you?

David may LOOK young, but he’s much wiser than many much older people I know! David is very comfortable with who he is and knows what his values are and that keeps him grounded. He is a musical genius with a voice that makes you FEEL something and his book is quite inspiring! Everyone could learn a little something from David Archuleta. oh, and the new single is sooooo good

mad respect for david archuleta. snark about his youthful appearance all you want, that formidable talent is always right there, taking up so much space it must knock many charged with trying to describe it fully for a loop. david defies description, those nice little boxes people like to force things to fit in. try this on for size —- jr. star search champion at 12/13, runner up on idol at 17, double platinum smash single ‘crush’, gold album, ny times best selling author, invited by white house to sing national anthem on 4th of july celebration on pbs, forbes list for top 10 earning idol alums, top 10 forbes list for most entreprenurial teens… at 19. what have you done… lately.

archuleta is a star, through and through. looking forward like so many others to hearing this new single - hear it’s a barnburner, on the radio, and looking forward to a full cd of songs from this very gifted and talent young man. respect.

I just read that Archuleta’s book made the New York Times Bestseller List for non-fiction which is pretty impressive at any age and his new single is coming out in a week - I heard it on AOL - really like it. Those things and singing in DC on the 4th make this a hard-working, talented guy - 19 or not. I guess that hard work and a love of music is paying off. Hard work at any age is something I respect.

I thought Beaver is 10 and Archuleta is 19, right? I saw his mom on TV who looks like 25 but actually 40 ? Blame his mom for young look, lol. His new single is already leaked. Amazing!!
